Doctor Greer has been instrumental in pointing out the similarities between ET and moths. Not only are they attracted to flashlights just like moths, but apparently they look exactly like moths as well, and for $800 Dr. Greer will let you view his photos of ET/moths, whatever, just cough up the cash bitches!
Who was it sussed the above picture that Greer obviously got from google images or whatever? They deserve a knighthood or Nobel prize or something.
There is probably nothing on earth that will make me feel as good as seeing Greer properly exposed for the scam merchant he is. He is utterly indistinguishable from any number of religous cults/frauds and the day he gets his comeuppance will one day become an annual public holiday.

He's got a small but loyal following. I like some of his ideas but many of his claims strain credulity. He's an entertaining part of the UFO parade.
As someone who has known him for almost 20 years, he lost it and went off the deep end after my close friend CSETI managing director Shari Adamiak died in 1998. And boy, I could tell you all stories---some of which I have already here at the forum...there are so many...

Yeah, I'm sure. I interact with some of his more loyal followers and they're good people and sincerely interested in the ET phenomenon but I think they have a somewhat exaggerated view of his contributions and in what I've seen of him, he doesn't exactly discourage that sort of thing. But having said all that, I do like some of his ideas.

Let's start with physician status. I live not far from Steven Greer. I've been by his estate. I'm in the same profession. He maintains his physician license with the Commonwealth by paying his biennial fees. He has, however, not practiced medicine since he moved to the Charlottesville, Virginia area in 1998. Though he used to be an E.R. physician, he is not certified (American Board of Emergency Medicine). His emergency room claim is what they call "Self-Designated Practice Areas," which just means he calls himself that. A doctor can call themselves lots of things when filling out their information to the state licensing board.
I have the IRS filings for one of his 501(c)(3) tax-exempt "educational" foundations (CSETI). Greer lists revenue (contributions) for one of his years as ~$956,000. However, he lists $206,854 to a company as expenses for, "training, lectures management, meeting and office space, educational materials, printing books/DVDs." These expenses are then deducted from revenue to get a "total assets" figure of $731,887. But wait!
Oopsie phucking daisy! The company that Greer paid $207,000 to for management/office space/materials/books/DVDs... that company is wholly owned by... guess who... Dr. Steven Macon Greer. So, what Greer has been doing for many years is, deducting expenses from his tax-free foundation for the IRS, but actually paying himself that money, as he wholly owns the company which provides the "services."
Keep in mind the above monetary example only concerns the tax-free donations for one of his foundations - this is NOT his personal income from numerous and other various sources.
He constantly whines about needing money, and begs for donations on countless websites, however, he owns two homes (one on 62 acres):
home #1: $1.3 million/5,600 sq.ft./4BR/4 fireplaces/4 bath/2 half-bath/62 acres
home #2: $1.1 million/3-story brick w/basement/2,835 sq.ft./14 total rooms/6 BR/4½ bath/fireplace in very exclusive area of Washington, D.C.
I have data for his real estate properties, etc., going back to North Carolina. He owned numerous lots/properties in NC - there were perhaps 15 transactions of buying selling property in NC.

Mr. Greer is an obvious charlatan; there can be no other conclusion. I have concentrated my efforts on his personal information and finances... but some of the information I've read here clearly shows him as having a mental disorder - my money is on being functionally delusional (similar to John Lear). I have tons of information on Mr. Greer - I have a computer folder devoted to him. I personally archive all interesting webpages into PDF files, so I still have the information should the website disappear (as so many of Greer's sites and shell-companies seem to do).
As I've mentioned previously, I'll have my own Disclosure Project on Greer likely within a few months. Some of my archived information is located on another computer in another state; additionally, because of the shear volume of information on Greer, it will take me some time to collate the information, and compile it into readable form which makes sense. I will be citing references where possible and/or make the PDFs available for viewing as proof.
Here is a small clip where Greer stridently claims that even he, as a "medical doctor," cannot afford solar power for one of his homes (keep in mind he quit medicine long before this video was shot - he only practiced in a medical environment for 7 years). He last worked as a physician in 1998, before moving to Virginia, which means, though he still touts his medical credentials, he has not practiced in 14 years.
