I really do wish there was a way to really showcase what these brave men saw up there in space.

I would give just about anything to know the truth, because if we are indeed not alone in the universe, then things on this little planet would be so much different if the truth were told.

In that article, it very carefully ignores the parts where he didn't say anything about what he, personally, saw. All the bits and pieces they quote him on are bits and pieces of info that came from someone other than him. He makes the statement that we are being visited, but does not offer anything other than 'they said' or 'they told me'.
Where is his direct testimony of what he actually witnessed? Has he witnessed anything?
Is he just another speculator jumping on the bandwagon now that 'uaps' are the flavour of the month?
inquiring minds want to know...

Ed hasn't seen anything himself.

He isn't just now coming forward with his opinions. He's been speaking about it for many years.

during his presentation at the xcon this weekend, he made it crystal clear he had never seen anything himself during his voyages in space. i will have to go thru my recording to see exactly what it was he said constituted his "proof".

i will say this.... i like to size a man up as best i can. i got to meet him, shake his hand, and exchange a few brief words with him, before heading into his speech. the man is beyond brilliant, that much was frighteningly clear. he had a better grasp on things such as quantum physics and nonlocality/entanglement theories than most who dedicate their lives to that field of study, and who are half his age. more importantly, he spoke with a level of honesty and intelligence that was sadly missing form 95% of the others speaking that weekend. and this isnt the grandfather image at play here, either. he is simply and honestly 100% believable is what he says. even during his q&a, he was quick to downplay, even outright dismiss some of the woo-woo questions that came his way, including those from mr. bassett himself (who felt it necessary to sit on his knees in the back of the room and hog as much question time as he could. funny to see stephen politely shot down more than once by the frank answers to his questions. maybe next time, steve, you should try showing some respect and at least stand up to ask your elders some questions. hung over, much?).

it was a funny little dance between them. though dr. mitchell agrees in principal with steves call for disclosure, the sourcing of the phenomena comes from two different schools of thought. dr. mitchell does indeed recognize the validity of the ETH, but is intelligent enough to support other possible sources as well, and has the scientific and theoretical knowledge to be able to eloquently back up those secondary possible sources.

now, i havent seen the press' coverage yet of what dr. mitchell had to say to cnn. im interested to see if he caved in a bit and followed steve's party line. the above is what i came away with from his xcon presentation. im hoping his tone didnt change when a camera was shoved in his face by cnn.

Ill tell you now what his proof is. His proof is the high level national security folks that he has known over the years who have confirmed the UFO situation to him. I reserve the right to be wrong but Ive heard a few Mitchell interviews and I believe that is correct.

BTW I dont have a problem with that. If I was Dr. Mitchell Id see that as proof too.

Erich are you allowed to include that talk on a podcast or something? Or is it copyright or whatever?

not sure. but i'll tell ya... i should. he was the only speaker i saw on sunday, which means it cost me about 70 bucks to see just him. THEN...as im talking to him, i see his books on his table. i asked him how much they were, and he said 16 (or so i thought). he signed one, addressing it to me by name (the standard 'best wishes erich' kind of thing). as i pulled out my 20 dollar bill, the lady sitting next to him said "ok, that'll be SIXTY dollars". i about choked. whoops...sixty, not sixteen. shoulve borrowed her hearing aid, i guess. well, what could i do...it had been signed...so i shelled out the 60 bucks and grumbled to myself as i walked away. so lets do the math...130 bucks to hear this guy speak... yeah, he owes me some pirated podcast time

Thats fucked man.

If it were me I totally do it. Fuck them, honestly that is a joke.

That is really really really disappointing to hear that. If it was Noory Id be fine with it cause of who he is. Same with Peckman or Greer. But Edgar Mitchell? So disappointing.

And I get that you gotta make a few bucks were you can. Id say 30 should be the ceiling on a product like that.

ffs:mad:

well, facts (according to him). If you asked him Im sure hed say its the truth rather than his opinion.

Given the numerous interviews I've seen and heard by him, I'm not so sure. He does believe it's true, but doesn't consider it proven. He believes smoking gun evidence is in the hand of the US gov. Now, maybe his story has changed. I figured the interview posted was just the same ol same ol that I've seen and heard MANY times. Every several months some media outlet makes an article on Ed, and often misquotes him etc. Later, I might force myself to read the one posted. I apologize if his tune has changed, and they didn't put spin to his comments. My comments are based on more past interviews and researchers I've discussed the issue with that know him. I have Ed on tape/video and audio discussing numerous times how he has never seen anything first hand etc. He uses the word "believes" even.

Ed charges extra for autograph copies of his book. I bought it at Barnes and reads just fine with out his sig. But, athletes charge for their autographs too. Glad I hate sports.

Ed endorses Geller btw.

Yeah you might be right.

All I meant was rather than an opinion based on his own deduction of the situation, he holds his belief based on high level confirmation. So I guess his opinion is that his friends are telling him the truth.

Yeah, whatever. Youre right its still just an opinion.
