I found this very interesting and very well done. You can skip the intro by clicking on the 'Skip Intro' icon at the very beginning of the video - it flashes on the screen very quickly, then disappears. The video really starts at 1:30.

Wondering what people in the US and around the world experience with the police.

I like the Chris Rock version better.

Having had my azz beat by the Police on several occasions, I can testify that his methods work!

When I was a young man, cops didn't have video cameras. They would laugh at us for filing a complaint.

That's very good, Charlie. :p It's especially good if you first watch the video I linked to because 'it follows'. :D

Is there any surprise here? We live in a police state that still maintains a thin facade of democracy. Nevertheless, the citizenry are not stupid. We now have video in our pockets. Of course, the response in many jurisdictions has been to criminalize the videotaping of police thuggery. Or, lacking legal backing, they are happy to just beat someone with a camera up, destroy it and then lie about the circumstances.
