Curiously Confused
So I was cleaning out an old storage box this weekend and found a notebook on my initial foray into the UFO world. I had totally forgotten this.
The date was November 16, 1996. A Saturday my notes say and I had made notes from a MUFON meeting in Oklahoma City. I remember being invited by a friend of my mothers. He was a detective at the Police station my mother worked at. He had been investigating cattle mutilations in his spare time and the night before he and his wife had dinner at our house. We heard some fantastic stories and I was kind of intrigued.
It is a bit funny that this is where it all began for me. It also shows my life long trouble with spelling.
I wrote the following notes.
Need to find out about:
- Standon Freedman (LOL, wow!)
- Rosswell New Mexico
- Scott Marsden
- Bob Lazar "Wow! If this guy is telling the truth. Seems nerdy enough."
- Sport model??
- Shoot on Site sign, guards in camoes.
- Rachal Nevada, north of Las Vegas (Good CFS here, mmm so hungry)
- Sonic Booms and crazy lights. Helicopters. Jeeps. Sheriff.
- Secret since 1950.
- Credentials check out. Los Alamos.
- Fake cactus with cameras in it.

Q. Why can you fly near it.
A. Mil use
Q. If they erased his degree, how did they know he worked at Las Alamos?????
Cattle Mutilations
- Linda Howl
- Hinesdale County, Colorado
- surgical
- burn marks
- no eyes, anus, genitals, and stomach
- no blood
- broken legs
- no teeth marks
Sighting Reports
- Guthrie - blue and yellow lights going in a zig zag for 20 min.
- Enid - Silver ball hovered and then flew away
- Roman Nose - Silver UFO
- Broken Bow - 3 green balls moving slowly to the north, 10 pm
Thats just before I left for a job in Utah. Literally days. I started work there on the 25th. I wish I knew who Scott Marsden was/is and more info on those cases. The journey since has been strange, fun and sometimes wild. Though, I am not sure I am any clearer today on what it all is then I was then.
Anyway, thought I would share.
