Skilled Investigator
Steve Lambert caught these two UFOs on camera hovering over the skies of Bracknell, Berkshire, on the night of Friday 14 June.

"They were heading south-west at speed towards Basingstoke - quicker than any normal aircraft. They were there for less than five seconds," the 42-year-old told getreading about the unusual sighting.

"I have seen a lot of funny things in the sky and I have always practised trying to take a photo quickly on my mobile phone," Lambert said.

Thanks for posting this brief UFO report. Based on the small amount of information provided:

Basics:
  • Sighting Date: Friday 14 June 2013
  • Time: Approximately 8:00pm ( Sun low off image to the right behind landscape | Sunset: 21:22 )
  • Witness Location: London Rd, Bracknell, West Berkshire RG12 2UJ, United Kingdom ( +44 1344 425215 )
  • Object Location: Observed west of witness location heading south-west at speed towards Basingstoke.
  • Duration of Sighting: Less than 5 seconds.
  • Reported By: Steve Lambert (42)
  • News Source: International Business Times UK
Considerations:
  • If the objects were "moving faster than any normal aircraft", then they couldn't have been hovering as indicated in the news clip.
  • The claim of spotting and capturing a picture of very fast moving objects in under 5 seconds is dubious.
  • The combined speed of the objects and the quick camera action should have produced some blur, yet a close-up of the white oval objects look like they were cleanly inserted with a thin black border.
  • There are playing fields in the direction of the objects as seen in the photos.
  • The Bracknell College is used by the local Remote Control Club
  • The Bracknell College is nearby
  • Considering that the picture was taken from the terrace of the Running Horse pub around 8:00pm on a Friday evening, it seems odd that Lambert would be the only one who would have seen the objects, especially since he was able to get a cell phone picture of it. To emphasize, we're talking about an English pub on a Friday night ... yet Lambert's sudden surprise and scramble for a cell phone to get a picture of strange objects in the sky attracted so little attention that he needs to get people to go to his Facebook page? This is suspiciously suggestive of a Facebook user promotional hoax.
Current Status:

Given the factors above, the story is suspicious, but even if the witness is being honest, seeing two "lights in the distant sky" isn't sufficient reason to think they're UFOs. With the position of the Sun low on the horizon, these objects ( if real ) could be a pair of fast moving jets in the distance reflecting the Sun, or they could be much smaller remote controlled craft doing the same thing ( or possibly even illuminated ). There is a playing field which isn't far away in the direction the objects are seen. Smaller and closer also means seemingly much faster. Although the objects do look rather high up for RC models, this possibility shouldn't be ruled out.

Also, given the direction that the objects were travelling and assuming a straight line, if they were larger objects on a normal flight path, they would have come from behind the pub and pass above and to the north of it. There is no indication that this happened. All in all, there is one inconsistency, three dubious factors, two possible mundane explanations, and too little supporting information to draw any firm conclusions.
