This is not Liberalism.

Small bit of trivia. Liberals believe in Liberty, freedom, and small government. The Founding Fathers were staunch liberals.

In the 1960's the media did an Orwellian meaning-reversal to try make the word "liberal" mean its opposite, "authoritarian collectivist".

Any time you see a television presenter use the Orwellian meaning, you know he is clueless.

They did the same thing with "red" and "blue" in the 1990's, Orwellian reversal. For 100 years "red" meant "radical, leftist, collectivist" and "blue" meant "conservative, old guard, throne, pulpit".

The long term goal is to make people unable to resist tyranny because they literally lack the language to do so.
