As several threads have touted the release of government documents as a small step towards acceptance towards the UFO issue and perhaps disclosure, I see this article.

And while it is basically countering the supposed build up of UFO interest, it maintains some good points. And of course some, not so good ones as well.
So is there a build up or more interest in the topic or just the opposite? Are we dealing with confirmation bias when we see the release of documents and stories of UFO's making us think that the topic is gaining popularity and validity? How important is the release of these types of documents really? And might they not give credibility to the subject due it's intermingling of wacko stories along with more credible, but perhaps mundane ones?
