Paranormal Adept
Ok well I have just seen a UAP.
I had just had dinner and was sitting on a deck chair looking at the stars and moon when I watched with my partner a bright light (not flashing) descend rapidly then move off to the right and disappear 20 seconds latter. It moved very slowly after it had descended and made absolutely no noise at all.

Not calling the ETH here but that was a mind bending moment to say the least.

Sighting was at approx 8:55pm NZST and sorry I did not have the time to go inside and get a camera.

It could be the real deal!

Well it looked very real to me.
Totally silent, not really that far away, bright white/blue with no flashing lights.
I can rule out a Chinese Lantern as the object was (a) to bright, and (b) moving against the wind direction
also lanterns do not pop into existence descend rapidly then move at a right angle to the first direction.

Also most defiantly not an aircraft for (a) it made no noise (b) no navigation lights flashing and planes don't tend to descend straight down unless there is a problem (c) they certainly do not make right angle turns.

The only helicopter that is allowed to operate at night over the city is the westpac rescue chopper and you can hear that coming from miles away.

Could be the real deal yes

I know the feeling. There is some-thing else here on earth. Unquestionably!

Maybe so.

Could it be other worldly or man made technology that the public know nothing about?
I have no idea but the craft are real that I am now certain of and it was good to have a witness with me to see it as well.

What I have observed in Montana is not man-made! Just one brief example: The military wouldn't have spheres ascending and descending into remote canyons, and landing on private ranches. It aint human!

Yeah good point that.
I will say from where I was the direction the object was heading out to sea, the bay is called Pegasus bay and Kaikoura is on the extreme northern end of it after Gore Bay (Tiny bay in comparison to Pegasus Bay). Kaikoura is oddly enough the site of the 1978 sighting and filming of a UAP.

I have been trying to psyche myself into creating a presentation, using a combination of graphics and pictures I took last summer. God Damn it's hard to write about this abstract shit!

I hear you lol

To be honest I still don't believe I have seen a UAP but what else could it be. I am a very rational person who try's to find explanations that make sense. The only one in this case is UAP as I have no idea what the hell it is we were looking at.

I never saw any UAPs all the time I lived in California. In the San Francisco Bay Area you can't see the sky anyway. Back then I wasn't looking for them. In 1976 while visiting my grandmother in Montana I saw a white glowing sphere rise above a ridge, it followed the ridge and then went behind the mountain. It was silent. I immediately recognized the significance of what I observed. I would post some of the pictures I took last summer but I don't want to publish them until I have completed the presentation.

Since the quake here in Christchurch it tends to be very quite at night and the light pollution is much much lower than it used to be. I will say that even with light pollution you would not have been able to miss this thing if you had been looking at the sky at the time which makes me wounder if others have seen it as well.

Oh and get that presentation published it would be good to see it :)

Thanks for the encouragement. Part of the problem is the long gloomy Montana winters. Hard to get motivated. Spring is just around the corner.

Holly Sh*t that is far to long for a winter.. we get a very short summer as well but I think you win
It beats living in the rat race, sometimes. I tried to upload another test but the file was too large. You can't re-size gifs. It's our duty to use this forum as a canvas and paint it with color.

lol I like that. Yeah I have got to the point I am sick of the rat race with what I do for a living.. hmmm well part of what I do anyway. I have had enough of working as a sound engineer so I have focused on being a musician full time once again.. yeah its hard but its worth it.

I used to play electric guitar. I owned a Gretch, and a Fender Stratocaster. I knew a guy that had a Rickenbacker guitar made with rosewood. Bitchin guitar. I have 2 synthesizers on my computer. I have the audio output from my computer going into a power amp and speakers. I should pick up a key board, a used Yamaha. You can't play chords with a mouse.

Nice.
I work as a session player and in other productions so going back full time is not really that much of an ask for me to do it.
as for guitars .. I have far to many, Fender Strats I have four of them , Les Paul's I had two but just got rid of one, A custom ESP, and as for acoustic guitars I have a stupid number here at home. On top of that add a pedal steel and a lap steel and that's just the guitars.

Yamaha keyboards are nice and I have a P-60 with a Roland SD-50 driving the midi through a USB to laptop. sounds very nice

Yea, music can take you places unlike any other media. It's amazing what you can do with synthesizers. Too bad we can't upload music files here. Create a new Paracast theme contest.
