Abductee music

I find it kinda interesting how UFOs have widely spread into different aspects of pop-culture, in the end even into Rock music and especially into Metal. Nowadays there's a nice bunch of Metal bands making songs or even concept albums about the abduction experience or UFOs/aliens. You can actually find quite some stuff: Hypocrisy's Abducted or The Arrival albums, some Theory in Practice songs, Bruce Dickinson's Abduction or maybe even Soul Intruders, Psychotic Waltz's Faded...and so on.

But, there's a Swedish band which really tops the cake - it's called Evergrey. Their lead singer and primary composer is obviously into abduction related stuff since the band made a couple of songs related to that on the first two albums and then made a whole concept album full of abductee...well, hymns. Quite funny when you get drawn into a sing-along during those power-choruses mentioning aliens coming to take you away. :D

For anyone into that style of music I really recommend the album (and basically the whole band and their opus). It's called In Search of Truth and if it wasn't for some really funny and unbelievable grammar mistakes in the lyrics, the album would have been impeccable. Once you get past those (still can't quite get it how can a bunch of Swedes who speak fluent conversational English make mistakes like that), you can enjoy some really creepy atmosphere, awesome music and songs. Great stuff IMHO, check it out. The album even has some samples form the Intruders miniseries. Here's a sample:
