Adam Gorightly Episode

Maybe Logic
Just wanted to say what a dynamite episode Don did with Adam on 4/24.

The content was great, ranging from THIS ISLAND EARTH to Jack Parsons and Terence McKenna. The calls and emails were all on the ball too (good job Ward!).

But what made it even better was the mutual respect between Don and Adam: Don, a former cop and military guy with Adam, something of a counterculture psychonaut. There's a lot of distance between those apparent opposites, but the unifying fascination of this subject, mutual knowledge of each other's work and background… hey, it was a great discussion of ideas, openly by two great guys. I heartily recommend a listen to anyone who hasn't done so.

I agree J.T. Adam is a great guest, and a fun dynamic with Don. His presentation with Dons last Saturday and then the chance to follow up this week with both presenters and ask question, well fantastic week for DMR. Thanks for the comp. J.T. :)

I'm surprised no one is talking about the Moon photo from Saturday's conference. I thought it was fantastic. I'd like to know what the name of that crater was.

I'm sure I would had I been there! But alas, I can only recommend this particular show -- wherein Adam and Don do briefly touch on the moon photos post-conference.

Sorry Guys, been really crazy busy this week. I am currently doing some tests on turning my novel Past Sins into an audio book. (you know, as read by the author.) Plus, Vicki is working on an episode of Glee this week .. she hasn't been sleeping that great .. and I been taking care of the house chores plus the two dogs. Our newest, Jade, a female Cocker Spaniel, is quite the little bull-dozer. Need I say more?

The photo is from the Surveyor series, taken Sept. 05, 1966. (pre-Apollo recon of the Moon)

How I received this photo is a bit complicated. Back in the 90's, while doing my first radio show UFOs Tonight, my producer introduced me to a guy who was the step-father of a guy my Producer worked with in his day job. His name was Bill Neilson, had been the IT guy in charge of computer ops for a very large banking system in LA. He had just medically retired, was fascinated by the UFO topic, physics, a lot of things that tickled his fancy. He was, by the way, an electronics whiz. One of the things he was in was Ham Radio, and got me and my Prod. interested also, and we later got our licenses.

Bill used to love to come down to the studio when I was broadcasting and we became good buddies. As it turns out, one of his Ham buddies was a scientist at JPL. Bill was enthralled at several of my Moon shows and asked his buddy if they had any Moon pictures stored at JPL. They did, he got some .. apparently no one at JPL even looked at them anymore, and brought a stack over for Bill to look at. He called me up, and we spent a day scanning them so Bill could give the actual pictures back. That was when we discovered this one and several others that were .. shall we say .. astounding. That was how I got it.

I still have not yet put this in general circulation. I have a couple of other things I want to do prior to my doing so. Thanks.

Decker

PS By the way, Bill died of cancer in Dec. of 1998 and his family requested I do the eulogy for him .. which I did. Still miss him, he was one hell of a guy.

IS THAT FREEDOM ROCK? WELL TURN IT UP MAAAAAAAAN!

Don how come the download isn't up on your site for this weeks shows, looking for the Gorightly interview from I think Wednesday, also why isn't there a schedule up for upcoming shows posted on your website?

Jay, the program director gets the shows up for download as quickly as he can. He has been really busy with a number of projects. As to getting the schedule up, that is on me. It depends on how quickly I have guests scheduled and when I remember to do it. (Oops!) I do it all Aquarius, and sometimes I get sidetracked.

Don I have never seen a schedule of your shows anywhere, is there another site aside from the page where your downloads are?

I put up my shows I schedule here and on Facebook. Tomorrow evening I have Dr. Barry Taff on DMR ... FYI.
