I had a gorgeous girlfriend with a lisp when I was 16. The girl introducing the video is cute and has one too. Don't know what that has to do with the post. I like the video too. Girl better tho.

Oh, and the hole in the Pentagon was the first piece of the puzzle that made me question the official version. Then I found out there was only one cctv vid available, and it was a joke itself. Anyone who believes the official story is sorely deluded. Maybe fiercely patriotic and loyal, but deluded I think.

There's nothing really new here, seems to me Stubblebine stumbled onto a few 9/11 conspiracy websites and is just repeating them almost verbatim. He's not really speaking from an insiders perspective so much as a private citizen who claims to have done his own investigation, yet he still manages to get the name of the guy who owned the towers wrong. He also makes the "steel couldn't melt" mistake, it didn't have to melt, only weaken.

That being said I have no trouble believing that the government not only had foreknowledge of the attack, but actively worked to make it worse. The exercises planned for that day are a little bit too much of a coincidence for me to swallow. One exercise was based on the exact scenario that took place that day, give me a break. Building 7, the Pentagon and Flight 93 all have aspects of their story that stink. What I don't think has been sufficiently proven is the demolition aspect which everyone concentrates on, instead of exploring the strange circumstances around the other aspects of the events of that day. I think they would have made a lot more progress if they would've stuck with the let it happen scenario with a little bit of the made it happen scenario in things like the Pentagon aspect. Instead they've splintered off into batshit crazy land with people like Judy Wood talking about hologram airplanes and seismic super weapons or the idiots at project Camelot interviewing some dude that said the government hired video gamers to fly the jets into the buildings by playing a video game.

So, 11 years and 2 trillion $ later, let's see: we've killed around 1 million people (appx), lost over 5K of our own guys (officially) the number is probably 2X that if you count those who died after the actual battle they were wounded in, and we are still embroiled in the country's longest war w/ a people who have repulsed every effort to conquer them... And the USA is on the brink of default because of this insanity.... And for what? WMDs? Poppys/heroin? Oil? Rare metals? Nukes in Iran? "Tuurists?" "Rag-heads" hiding in caves? Naw, can you spell G-R-E-E-D?

I think you're on to a very big piece of the puzzle right there. Look at the rise of opiate addiction post Afghanistan invasion and look at what was going on prior to our involvement. The Taliban had almost eradicated poppy production and now Afghanistan is one of, if not the largest poppy producing country in the world and our soldiers are guarding the fields. Remember, it's not just the sale of drugs, but the money made from slave labor in prisons, the recovery industry and the pharmaceutical business, plus more money for the so called war on drugs, etc etc. Kind of like Vietnam, when the CIA was actively smuggling heroin via Air America, it's nothing new. Is it just a coincidence that the last time this country had such a problem with opium based drugs was during the war in Vietnam? I doubt it. Greed is a major motivating factor in this country's foreign policy whether we want to admit it or not...

The more hopeless life seems and the further down & out people feel, the more likely they are to escape their reality w/ substances such as opiates and/or alcohol. Smoking pot (for some) gives the added dimension of escapist ironic humor while observing interesting times. And boy do we need some Leadership (I mean humor) about now!

The end result is a US population—heads in the sand—in a state of waking coma, that has literally given up, as they prop up and wiggle their pink, over-weight tushies in the air—unconsciously wincing for that jack-boot poised and ready to rock their pink-ass world.

Used in the context of pot smoking you do point out a pretty accurate (and bleak) picture, as far as escapist humor, chris. But I find ironic humor to be a pretty important channel for delivering important information. Some people do respond more to such avenues from the old british magazine punch to todays "daily show" even stand up comedians, these agents tell it like it is, first you laugh, then you stop and think, I believe you even made this point at one time and while I'm sure you don't need this pointed out I did want to mention it to distinguish it from the stoner who vegges out while watching adult swim channel...Although not having watched that channel maybe it has merit as well.
