I think psychobilly might be a more apt description for Mojo. If you take Howlin' Wolf, Southern Culture on the Skids, early punk, and The Cramps and put them in a blender you might end up with something kinda like Mojo. He's kind of a maniac. Sucks that it is only available in the US. Here's probably his most well known song:Just tried to download. Only available in US
Is it rockabilly style music? I quite like Nick Lowe who plays this sort of stuff.
That's a good description.Anarchy with a sense of humor.
Nah, but that's a cool cover. You're a talented guy.Insipid cutie-Pie illustration for a collection of truck-driver country songs, several featuring Mojo-Nixon.
The title of one of the songs by Mr. Nixon (curiously enough, given this forum) is UFO's AND BIG RIGS
(is this rare CD part o' the discography?)
Me and yo mama and some other whore
Floatin down the river on a shithouse door...
Gonna tie my pecker to my leg to my leg
Gonna tie my pecker to my leg
I can't get a free download without giving them a credit card number first?
I'm go play my own damn psychobilly music.
Fans of Mojo may enjoy the 'Truckers, Shuckers, Freaks and Geeks' show.
