He's a peculiar case, because I have no history with him. I do not know him, nor do I read his columns. His outbursts suddenly appeared, and I made a few efforts to correct his lies on a UFO-oriented mailing list. But he is a broken record, with the needle always stuck in a certain grove. I suppose if left alone, he will eventually realize nobody is paying attention and start to annoy someone else.

One more thing: Once the threads in which is participated were closed by the mailing list moderator, he started polluting my Inbox with insults. I told him to stop, and he persisted, so I complained to his ISP. So I gather he was without Internet access for several hours, which may be poetic justice.

Hi Gene,

I would suggest locking this thread, and to everyone else I would suggest not mentioning it again. It's a sideshow... a distraction - part of the inter-personal stuff that bogs down serious discussion of the paranormal. Moving forward, we should all try to rise above that kind of thing.

I've never found Gene to be misogynist. I've always found him to be kind to women, including his x-wife on the Paracast, that is a sign of a class act.
