I came across this on Digg. I doubt it's real, but here it is.

That thing has popped up a few times. It's a mummified marmoset.

I was going to make a post about this, some new articles have popped up detailing this alleged story. Here and here

For laughs, here's Whitley Streiber trying to make sense of it and failing as hard as one could possibly fail at anything. Link

I think Streiber's 'visitors' may have shoved that probe so deep up his ass his brain was punctured.

Jaimemememememeee Maussan is now saying that it is as real as real can be ... so its probably a plaster of paris cast of an otter or something. Do they have otters in Mexico??? :D

See here:

But of course ol' Whitley will think its the real thing probably forever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever ... and write several bestselling books about it.

Oh dear oh dear it really makes one want to take up ufologist vigilante stalking. Now ... wheres my gun???

With all the dead alien babies people keep claiming to find, the answer to the entire mystery is obvious: Earth is an Alien Abortion Clinic (AAC).

The one compelling fact (?) here is that the farmer who purportedly found this thing has been killed. I do not know what this means but it does add some additional question to the cloudy soup.

There were twice as many murders on the Mexican border in 2008 than all U.S. casualties in over 8 years in Iraq and Afghanistan. Life seems to be pretty cheap in that part of the world these days.

Re: Uralien...
When something happens in Russia it is very difficult to ascertain the reality of what went on by normal means. Who is writing the truth? Are we to believe Pravda or Tass? What about the more sensationalist outlets?
I am not saying the "Uralien" did not happen, only that it is near to impossible to corroborate.
Could it have been an alien? Possibly. Could it have been some poor misformed human? Possibly. Hoax? Possibly.
Unless someone spends gobs of money and time it is unlikely we will ever factually know.
Intuitively I suspect this was some misformed human child who was beaten to death by extended family, who then sought to profit by its demise. I could easily be wrong.
Best,
Fahrusha

Pravda is worse than the National Enquirer and Weekly World News combined.

Russia Today
for real news (in English). They even cover UFO stories time and again, much more often and with more balance than western media.

I thought the thing died of neglect. AFAIK the autopsy didn't mention a violent death.
