I'm not a theologian and I don't know ancient Hebrew or Greek or any other language. I stumbled onto this from a link at Above Top Secret. This is the first video in a series and it's certainly interesting.

No serious Biblical scholar would take all of the books in the Old Testament literally! Before any arguments can even proceed from his mouth, Biglino is already in error.

For example, just listen to Fr. Barron's latest sermon on "The Spiritual Drama of Jonah." Did Jonah REALLY live for 3 days in the belly of a whale, or did the author mean for us to draw a deeper meaning from the story?
