In last week's episode with Nick Redfern, we skirted the edges of conspiracy theories when talking about the premature deaths of some people who may or may not have had an involvement in the UFO mystery.

This week, we go whole hog, with Olav Phillips. On Thursday, between 11 AM and 1 PM Pacific, we'll cover the whole gamut of many of the most popular theories with an old hand at this game.

According to his bio:

Olav Phillips is Conspiracy Researcher, specializing in the Secret Space Program, Exotic Aircraft, High Technology, Foreign Policy, Pre-History and Mysterious Civilizations. He is a regular contributor to Paranoia Magazine and ConspiracyHQ. He has also written for Mysteries Magazine and served as Executive Producer and Principal Researcher for Ground Zero Radio with Clyde Lewis (Nationally Syndicated by Premiere Radio Networks). Olav has also appeared on many popular radio shows as well as television presentations including: The Outer Edge, The Higher Side Chats, ConspiracyHQ TV, Shadows In the Dark Radio, Coast to Coast AM, Voyager (RAI Due), as well as being a long time contributor to Ground Zero Radio’s investigations including the famous Tracy, CA UFO Crash case featured on UFO Hunters. Olav has also contributed to many of the television presentations you’ve seen on Area 51, UFO’s and conspiracies.

Olav is the owner of The Anomalies Channel, a online video channel with over 26,000 subscribers and hundreds of videos available to ROKU players all over the world as well as The Anomalies Network which is the primary source for his writings and research.

How much of today's UFO mythology do we "owe" to William L. Moore? Could he have faked the MJ12 documents with the help of one, maybe two others "just for fun"?

Was he really a CIA plant or is that a conspiracy theory he made up about himself to make himself seem much more important than he was?

Are there any truths that have been hidden inside today's UFO mythology (greys, reptilians, underground bases, secret programmes and even warfare etc.) to make them look ridiculous?

Are there professional disinformers at work in Ufology or are Ufologists in general just doing a real good job discrediting themselves?

What are your favorite conspiracy theories?

Are there any which sound totally strange and ridiculous but which you think might be valid?

Are there any that sound reasonable but which you think are totally made up?

As a skeptically minded guy that's had weird experiences like seeing UFOs close up and personal, what conspiracy theories would pass any reasonable tests for reality instead of just being fun things to consider?

I mean, things like the secret space program are pretty hard to swallow. As are untracked massive heavy lift launches needed to make such a thing possible, or having exotic propulsion so secret that it actually doesn't get used in wartime when the US is getting it's butt handed to it.

What do you know about the origins of the "Nazi UFO conspiracy"? Wasn't there a french author responsible for first connecting Nazis to UFOs, who deliberately invented, misquoted or exaggerated sources just to see how many other UFO authors would seize on that without bothering to validate anything?

What would be your best evidence for a secret space programme?

Did the Judica-Cordiglia brothers really record "lost cosmonauts" in the early 1960s? The spoken russian seems genuine.

Or could this have been an attempt to discredit the soviet space programme? Italy in the 1950s and 60s was as hotbed of CIA-supported anti-communist activity.

Speaking of which, don't things like the "Gladio" secret army (and their counterparts in other countries) and Propaganda Due (P2) show that real conspiracy theories are probably at work all the time?

Is it possible that Berlusconi's claim to power and money can be traced back to his work in these circles and probably for the CIA? Was he involved in the murder of many innocent people by staging fake communist bombings? If so, how many more murderers and capital criminals may be sitting in high places in "free and democratic" countries right now?

Could the alleged soviet research into psychic powers have been a conspiracy to fool the american secret services into binding forces and wasting time doing their own research? Or could that be a sceptic's conspiracy theory?

Do sceptics and debunkers come up with their own conspiracy theories if it suits their cause?

OK, so now the show is probably recorded, I'll abduct this question thread to make a guess why there weren't more questions asked despite there being more than enough time.

Of course, in summer, with the nice weather etc., people in general aren't online as much. But my guess is that the ones who were online and did visit the site, often probably didn't recognize this as a question thread, as I did.

As I'm lazy and don't think I have much time, I usually just check the "current threads" sidebar, not the actual forums themselves, when I visit (bad idea, I know). Which is why I only saw a part of the thread title ("All Conspiracies All the Time..."). Only on wednesday evening did I realize this was about a new guest and for questions.

This is not criticism, as the fault is with superficial forum members like me, just a suggestion. I think there would have been more people reacting to the thread, if the title had read something like "Questions for Conspiracy Expert Olav Phillips".

Where is wartime is the U.S. "getting its butt handed to it" ?
There have been quite a number of military engagements post-911/Gulf War 2 where deploying exotic tech could have gotten them out of a heck of a mess.

Why wouldn't they use it if they had it?
