Personally I think it is pure fantasy. Really how on earth could any government keep this covered up? And If you could cover this up then how do you do that? Another point is the technology needed is way beyond us. Maybe I am just biased as my bull shit alarm seems to go mental the moment I hear the word Exopolitics. Either way this would make a great Science Fiction book with such ideas as the Martian land-based plesiosaur. Is this maybe the truth or just a really good laugh? So anyway let the discussion begin and remember to attack ideas and not people.<O:p</O:p

teleporter to mars lmao , when toyota can't even put working brakes in there cars , nice acticle to read do :P reminds me of stargate, wonder if that show was never made what would people think up of then .Maybe genetically enhanced flying intergalatic pigs that can warp time and pause the solar systems rotation and pull mars to with in walking distance of earth.

No surprise at all that piece of nonsense turns up on the Enquirer--er Examiner site. Just another load of crap from some poor schmucks looking for their fifteen minutes of fame.

Ha ... I was right. As soon as I saw the words "teleporter" and Mars, I thought Andrew Basiago. Lawyer and uber-fruitcake (sorry Mr Basiago if you're listening ... but it is completely mad stuff you're pushing). He did a number of programmes with Alfred Webre on his exopolitics radio programme. Hearing them my ears nearly fell off. Completely mad stuff. He is also responsible for saying that there are pictures of aliens on Mars, having picnics and some such. Really??? ... yep ... really.

I wouldn't mind so much but when you look at the pics mentioned all you see are ... wait for it ... ... ... ROCKS.:D

I rest my case :D.

Wasn't this part of some debunked April Fool's joke done by the BBC back inthe 70's or something? Or was that "Alternative 3"?

Aye, it was Alternative 3. It didn't even really need debunked, it was openly a hoax, the original documentary ran credits for the actors. Not sure why this has stuck around, to be honest. I doubt the creators would have imagined it'd still be taken seriously over 30 years later!

That's one of the bigger problems with the UFO/paranormal field. Someone creates a hoax, admits it's a hoax even proves it's a hoax and there will always be someone (usually some sheister out to make a quick buck) who will insist it's all real because "he was there" and a small percentage of dopes will happily believe him for no other reason than because they really, really WANT to believe him. If it goes on long enough it spawns a second generation of hucksterism, which is what I suspect "Alternative 4" amounts to.
