This congress looks like a honorable effort in making the ufo phenomenon a serious matter by joining to ufo subject to science:
the congress is called Astronomy, Space and Ufos. They have banned any of the classic crazy guys such as the Raelien people, and invited well know people to this forum such as Nick Pope, Stanton Friedman.
They have also invited less know people on the international scene such as Jean Pierre Petit who is one of the rare scientist that risked his career defending the ufo existance and they have also invited the Swiss Astronaut Claude Nicollier, which I has never been seen associated to the ufo domain.
This congress is in France which is why their website is currently only in French. But they are claiming to be an international congress, all presentation will be translated in 4 languages including english.

I believe any effort in trying to making the ufo subject more serious is worth mentioning and defending which is why I bring it up in this forum. The Paracast is defending the same values.
