An ocean in mid-Earth . . .

Free episodes:

OK, I'll start. I read recently that there are now nine bodies in our solar system hypothesized to contain significant underground bodies of water. What we've thought of as extraterrestrials might be intraterrestrials originating in one or more of those environments. Our genetics and theirs might already be mixed. If so, we might need to adjust our perspectives on ufos and the nature of our already established relationship(s) with the intelligences operating them. Maybe this has already been discussed in another thread, but I find this subject of underground life-supporting environments in the neighborhood not just interesting but ramifying.

Yea, if we're seeded from some common part of the galaxy, or there were major exchanges of material following impacts. Not sure if below surface water changes much about that?

If so, we might need to adjust our perspectives on ufos and the nature of our already established relationship(s) with the intelligences operating them.
What relationships? Are you a 'contactee'?

About the story: Hidden 'Ocean' Discovered Deep Underground Near Earth's Core

As far as I can tell, there is no liquid ocean beneath the Earth's crust that you can navigate Jules Verne style, it's trapped in spongelike crystals, ringwoodite.

Maybe this has already been discussed in another thread, but I find this subject of underground life-supporting environments in the neighborhood not just interesting but ramifying.
Indeed, I gather that scientists are hoping that we may find life in the sub-terranean ocean of the moon Europa. They are at least hoping it can be used to get funding, lol. Not sure what you mean by 'ramifying' though..

What relationships? Are you a 'contactee'?

Not an ET contactee. What I meant was that if it turned out that we are genetically or biologically related to them, we already have a natural relationship with them. Having evidence of that would change our present perspective on them as mysterious and perhaps hostile or completely indifferent outsiders. I wasn't clear; we (most of us) don't have a 'relationship' with whoever is behind the ufos because we so far know nothing whatever about them and thus have no grounds on which to postulate their intentions toward earth.

Indeed, I gather that scientists are hoping that we may find life in the sub-terranean ocean of the moon Europa. They are at least hoping it can be used to get funding, lol. Not sure what you mean by 'ramifying' though.

One ramification would be that we no longer have to assume that et craft must come across vast expanses of space to reach earth. Another ramification would be that if these are the species sending unambiguous anti-nukes messages to us over the last 50 years, they might do so not only because our weapons endanger other life in our shared solar system but because they care about our species and other species on earth. It could also be the case that these species have lived in 'our' oceans for ages and consider themselves to be residents here, having the same vested interest in the planet we do, but a lot more intelligence than we possess.

The map is stunning on that link. Everything is marked on here - family vacation done.

The only problem with hollow earth theory is the geological data has not supported it. Think earthquake monitoring for when an earthquake occurs monitoring stations around the planet pick up the seismic activity and triangulate the event. What is more the waves also pass through the planets inner layers which gives us an idea of the stratification. Not going to rule out large cavities near the crust but a hollow earth no that is pure fiction.
However as for internal bodies of water, from what I have read about this phenomena it is more like a sodden sponge than an actual open body of water in the upper layers. But then again that is not really hard to imagine considering the amount of water on the surface.
What I get from this is the implications for the existence of such places on such planets as Mars or even at a stretch Venus considering we now understand that life can exist in some very extreme environments.

Just musings my friends.

How about if ET/IT's were miniscule? then they would have no trouble navigating in a sponge like environment.
Just because something is tiny does not mean it cannot be powerful for eg:

N.B not the actual mosquito rather the Malaria that they carry on their mouth parts.
