Doing some "house-cleaning" on my computer and came across this article that a guy did who interviewed about my Moon research. I know some of you enjoy this stuff ... so here it is.

UFO 18: Who's That on the Moon?
Go outside tonight and look at the Moon. For centuries astronomers have been examining it through telescopes. NASA has taken countless pictures of the Moon's surface; pictures by astronauts, and from space capsules, moon rovers, and unmanned spacecraft. All have discovered some startling evidence that someone is on the moon, and have built facilities there.
UFO Magazine's chief researcher, Don Ecker, has been studying these lunar anomalies compiling an impressive amount of data on the subject since 1992. He became fascinated with the subject after interviewing Jim Silva, who was a guest on Ecker's radio show UFOs Tonight. Silva had been involved in moon research since 1978. The two became friends, and Silva sent Ecker some photographs. "After studying the pictures closely," Ecker said, "I was convinced that what I was looking at could only be considered artificial structures. I became very intrigued, and very deeply involved in lunar anomaly research. What I've learned will soon be published in a book. But I'm not done yet. It will probably take me until the end of 2000 to complete it." (Oop's!!)
"Professional astronomers, people with world-renowned reputations, have written about the history of the moon; have reported seeing strange lights and configurations on the moon," Ecker said. "NASA compiled all these in a technical report in 1968 prior to the first Apollo touchdown. NASA was not only aware of these anonomalies, but was very interested in them. According to NASA's technological report, people have seen a lot of other strange things on the Moon; clouds of what was believed to be water vapor bursting from the surface of the moon and strange lights observed emanating from a number of lunar craters. "Some craters have histories of hundreds of years of strange lights; the crater Aristarchus and the crater Plato, just off the top of my head," Ecker comments.
"In 1953, the Mare Crisium Bridge was seen by an amateur astronomer who was a science writer for a newspaper on the East Coast. His name was John J. O'Hearn. Later, British astronomers Patrick Moore, and Dr. H.P. Wilkins verified his observations. Both are renowned world authorities on the Moon. Nobody had ever reported seeing this thing before 1953. Suddenly it was there. It's unexplainable unless there was some type of intelligent activity on the Moon," Ecker commented. "These pictures came from the from the Ranger probe in 1965 and '66. Since then many photos have been received by researchers where some of the anomalies are no longer in the picture. This would suggest that perhaps they were retouched."
"But, James Silva, sent me an absolutely phenomenal photograph of the Mare Crisium that clearly shows a bridge, and another object beneath it, which to my eye, appears to be an artificial wall; a structure that resembles a castle battlement. Something is protruding from the wall, casting a very distinctive shadow. Also, Silvan went to a book signing where former Astronaut Allen Shepard was appearing. He took this photograph up to Shepard at the end of the signing and asked him if he would sign it. Shepard took it from him, smiled, and wrote his name on it. When Jim got it back, he pointed out the wall-like object to Shepard and said, 'Sir, just out of curiosity, can you explain what that structure is?' Shepard looked down at it and appeared to recognize it. Shepard's face went white. He handed Jim the picture back, and walked away without saying a word," Ecker reports.
What do you feel are the most important things that have been seen up there?
"I don't think anything in particular is more important than anything else. If in fact there are artificial structures and objects up there, I think its something that should be known by the public. It's something we should have an explanation for from responsible authorities," said Ecker.
Do you think our astronauts have seen anything up there?
Ecker: "Yes. I have some photographs that I got from a source that have never been in front of the public before. One of these is truly the most amazing thing I've ever seen! If I can locate these things from NASA photographs you can't tell me, that out of seven missions that went to the moon, six that landed, that these astronauts did not see these same anomalies."
In a story Ecker wrote last year for UFO Magazine, he interviewed a man named Karl Wolf who had gone to a photographic facility on an Air Force base to repair some sophisticated satellite downloading equipment. While there, an Airman running the equipment told Wolf, "We have discovered a base on the backside of the moon." He showed Wolf pictures of buildings at the complex. 'I saw structures that were not natural structures on the surface of the moon,' Wolf told Ecker.
Is NASA going more and more "Black"? (Ultra Secret?)
"Well I think I was one of the first people to make that remark at least eight years ago," Ecker answered. "Back in 1992 NASA was caught in some very public scandals. Their mid-level management people were illegally subverting Freedom of Information act requests. As a matter of fact they were teaching managers how to subvert Freedom of Information Act requests. There was involved an ongoing project involved with small atomic reactors that were to be built to power spacecraft. The Administrator then was Admiral Richard Truly. When this came to light, Truly vowed to clean house, returning NASA to the most honest federal agency there is. Somewhere in the process he and Vice President Dan Quail had a disagreement and President Bush fired him. So they brought in Daniel Goldman from TRW. He'd been at TRW for twenty-eight years. TRW is one of the prime contractors for ultra top-secret satellite technology - a very Black Budget outfit (funded by big money from secret sources). In the next few years more and more scientific people from NASA were being released and replaced with people from the military and private contractors; people that knew how to keep their mouths shut. In the mean time Congress was continually slashing the NASA budget to the bone. So how could they stay in business? They got more and more black budget money for Department of Defense space missions. It doesn't take any great stretch to connect the dots," Ecker said.
Why does NASA want to keep these facts secret?
"There's a lot of circumstantial evidence to suggest that we've been sold a bill of goods by NASA and other Black funded agencies”, Ecker comments. "The things that keep me in the field are the continuous lying, deception and the disinformation practiced by the individuals within the federal bureaucracy that have their thumb on this enigma. I want to expose these people for the crime they're committing against the American public, and the people of the world, for that matter. If there is extraterrestrial activity on the moon, that's certainly why they don't want the public to know about it," Ecker commented. "If there is anything up there I am convinced that it is from a source outside of planet Earth," Ecker concluded.
