I think precisely the opposite. I believe that the astronauts wanted to explore and the institution didn't want to go back.

They were some of the last true explorers, and I'm sure they still have a great deal of pioneer spirit. Apparently, according to the article, so does Armstrong.

I dont see how one thing negates the other. 2 + 2 does not = 5.

Plus weve known for years that they want to get back up there onto the Moon.
 
I'm not saying anything is negated. Simply put, one of the main bodies of supporting evidence proposed by many of the 'Moon Anomaly' theorists revolves around some of the following issues:
- The Apollo astronauts were 'warned' off the moon by Aliens
- The Apollo missions were cancelled due to the Alien artifacts they found up there, and them not wanting the public to find out
- Neil Armstrong has become a recluse and hidden away from society after what he saw up there.

And the list goes on.

My point is simply, that the fact that they are all looking to go back up there, would seem to cast doubt on some of the above theories.

Again, i'm not debunking it, just trying to unravel the mystery in my head
 
I think the only point above with any basis in reality is the Neil Armstrong being a recluse. We know he is.

The way I see it is that I would not be surprised if there's stuff up there not left by us humans in this time period. I think it's doubtful that there are living beings there now, and doubtful that the Apollo missions were cancelled due to what they found.

I think maybe some modern day astronauts don't care or know, or have been briefed and have become blasé about it. I dunno. I just don't see any scenario that casts doubt over the good quality anomaly photos and the good quality stories such as the ones Don has brought to light over the years.

The sad thing is that all this economic bullshit is holding back the species. We need to get into space on a more permanent basis. (disregarding the portals to Mars of course!)
 
i'm still looking to see some of the good quality ones, all the ones I see are grainy images. People are always telling us we need to look at the proper hi-res prints to see it, but where do we find these prints? Does anyone know if we can order thejm from somewhere?
 
One of those little things that has made me question what really happened up there was that really really odd news conference that was held when Armstrong et al came back from the moon. They did not seem at all that pleased that they had performed one of the greatest feats in history. Since first seeing it it has rankled with me that the astronauts seemed so uncomfortable being asked questions at that news conference.

Did we go to the moon?? At the moment, I'm actually rather agnostic on that question much to my partner's dismay :D ...

NASA just released the initial data from the current LRO mission available through the Planetary Data System (I checked it and I am not technically minded enough to figure out), but Arizona State University has uploaded these images. I don't know if you can order prints but you can download the high resolution images. NASA will be releasing new data every 3 months. Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter Camera

If someone were using the moon as an observation post I think they would practice camouflage. If it was used as a terraforming base then structures and equipment might still be visible. My pet theory., (I admit it's way out) is that perhaps the moon was modified to be used as a colony ship to evacuate mars due to some catastrophe. And that it was placed in it's current orbit to allow for efficient disembarkation, support and to act as a physical shield against extinction level impacts upon the earth. Perhaps we should be looking for gigantic airlock doors.

I've seen a lot of allegedly anomalous moon images and read dozens of BS ET stories attributed to the astronauts. The astronauts accounts are 100% exaggerated, misrepresented or made up. There aren't any genuine statements by Apollo astronauts that describe buildings, relics or even ETs on the moon. Many of the images are over-magnified jpegs and guys are misidentifying pixellation as city grids, machinery or buildings. Hoagy's castles or Escamilla's massive structures are simple hoaxes or aspects of the poor guys' need to believe in something amazing.

Aristarchus has been observed for centuries and has been witnessed hundreds of times by scores of astronomers having lights in the crater. Rather than aliens mining the crater, they are 'Transient Lunar Phenomena' (Transient Lunar Phenomena). Sir Patrick Moore was part of a group of four astronomers who saw the same phenomena at the same time. It was important because until then, folk had been seeing them alone and made the phenomena a subjective concept. Astronauts are also scientists...it's natural they want to get up to the Moon. I do too! The reason we haven't been back is the same reason we aren't there now...politicians don't view science or space exploration as value for money.

I really wish that we could find some ancient evidence of ET up there. Discovering a Von Neumann probe (von Neumann probe) factory would be the safest way for us humans to accept there's life out there without having it breathing down our necks. Other than Megan Fox at my front door, I can't think of many more exciting things than alien technoogy being headline news.
