another theory on why UFO's "visit"

I don't know if someone else has already put forth this theory on UFO's but has anyone considered that UFO's are gathering plant, animal, human, natural resource samples to replicate them and spread them around the galaxy to other planets like a Noah's arc or science experiment?
 
Well, I've heard Biedny put forth that aliens could be interested in earth for its bio-diversity, that it could be uncommon in the universe for that.

If you don't go for the ETH, then that gets a bit more problematic. If the entities are terrestrial, they may just be trying to save bio-diversity for their home planet, too, meaning earth.
