I love hydrocarbons!
I'm thinking about starting a wiki site centered exclusively around paranormal,UFO,alien, etc.etc........all the stuff that Gene and David like to tackle.
I'd like to build a comprehensive database of everything out there on these subjects. I'd like to use Mediawiki which is the same open source software on which wikipedia is built. We'd go on the same rules and community based policing of content as used on wikipedia.
Anyone else think this sounds like fun? I'll put the site up, just need people interested in starting the community to build the content. Everyone here at the Paracast forums seems pretty cool and level headed, I think we could build a great resource for everyone interested in stuff that falls outside what we consider "normal"
Any wiki wiz folks, mysql experts, php professionals who want to work on a back end? It would be a volunteer thing for fun obviously.
