Looks like the new iPods will be announced next week (September 1), along with other stuff probably. I'm thinking that I may upgrade my first generation iPod Touch this year, if the price is right.
 
sounds like maybe a new iTV (AppleTV) will be announced as well. I really like mine.

I use my PS3 or Xbox 360 for that stuff, but at $100 I would recommend one to anybody that doesn't need a videogame console or DVD/BluRay player. I love that I can stream stuff to my TV from my iMac.
If the iTv is going to be using iOS, it'll be a slam dunk.

I pass by an Apple Store every morning and there's a line up of people waiting to get in. When I pass by in the evening, the store is packed.
 
i used to be into video games. still have an original pong and the first Intellivision. Don't play games anymore so the Apple TV is great. I sync my photography to it and my clients can see their photos on a 46" Sony Bravia.

Nice. Since getting my DSLR last year, I've been shooting a hell of a lot more and being able to show my pictures on my 40 inch TV as opposed to my 20 inch iMac is nice.
Yeah - I'm a big video game nerd.
 
i am stuck on an older G5 PPC dual 2.3 It works great but I am feeling the PPC pains now with all the updated software. CS4 for me for awhile.
 
My predictions:

1) new square ipod nanos
2) new retina display iPod touches
3) preview of iTunes with better syncing, new ui
4) announcement of iTV SDK, won't be available till around Halloween when the apple televisions come, in addition to ipads with retina displays.

sounds about right to me. maybe throw in a smaller iPad.

That's a good price for anyone that does not have any thing to stream to. I have a PS3 and an Xbox360 for that so it would only be useful for the rentals and I don't think that I would take advantage of that.
I'm impressed with the prices of the products, except for the Nano, which i think is a little expensive at $150. I'll probably be upgrading my iPod Touch this year.
