Dude, maybe NASA is just saying there's no chance of it hitting earth and really there could be a remote possibility of it making contact. Who really knows this is a naturally occurring event it would be impossible to get %100 probability on a computer model. The thing is projected to fly between the weather satellite orbit and the GPS satellites. Not trying to freak anybody out but that's a pretty close shave. EEK!

That could be true. You know the old saying about the two ways to tell if the government is lying? 1.When thier lips are moving.....2.and when their lips are not moving.
But, I think it's safe this time around.
Wait, just thought of something. If NASA claimed it was going to hit, but said their super secret asteroid destroying satellite took it out (when it actually whizzed on by)..........they'd get unlimited funding for years to combat asteroid threats!
Why can't I run NASA?
 
I was obviously caused by humans... i suggest a meteor tax to eliminate the problem.

I was told by a star person that I am an ascended master and the tinnitus i have is important data being downloaded to my brain. this data will be important when the apocalypse comes. :cool:

the videos of that meteor that hit russia is pretty amazing. check out the live feed from the fly by in less than an hour.
