Here is the UFO segment that was aired on the Today show in Australia this morning. Some interesting stuff in there.... apparently Australia is a UFO hot spot now - I had no idea. I guess it makes sense considering how clear the skies are in the outback.

-edit- Did anyone else notice that when the 'expert' was asked if he had seen an alien as he was detailing that yes he had in fact seen one he did a massive nose touch/wipe with his hand. Could be lying...

it wasnt the best segment really..... I didnt have time to watch the whole thing as I had to leave but I thought they had the footage of the cow being abducted.

Did anyone else see that? Im positive it was fake.... it was a shaky cam filming a paddock full of cows then one gets sucked straight up in a straight line and disappears into a light oval shape craft.... you couldnt see any features it was just a saucer shaped craft that was a white light colour.

It had to have been fake.

Ok, found the footage... its pretty ridiculous. Especially the way the hosts were going on.

That's a worry.
Tried researching his name on google for a few minutes, and found a reference to him in the wiki on australian Ufology.

I had a sighting tonight in the sky, so I am going to be filling out a report with details. basically I went searching for who to contact online in our state, and found the above article.

Aus Today Show - Ufo segement 18/6

Ok, here goes - and I will say it as I saw it to you -
It was 10.15 pm... heavy (ish) cloud cover. I was going from my back door (after my wife had got up to feed our 9 month old daughter) to lock up my shed/workshop when I stood on our path and looked up at the clouds, and a very bright "full" moon.
The clouds had gaps in them so I was standing looking at what I thought at first was another satellite tracking North to South, and about the usual size - although glowing bright yellow colour. The cloud cover disapated then I saw two of the same tracking the same direction side by side... them 3 - then 4 - almost in a line seperated by about a fingerwidth in distance between them. I watched this to make sure I "wasnt dreaming" for a minute or two going above - what seemed really high up, then raced inside to get the video camera.
No win. By the time I returned they had gone, and I stupidly raced out the front onto our street, looked around, but too much cloud cover. It seemed like these items - or ITEM if they were all parallel?? - was well above the clouds. I explained all this to my wife, then she went to bed and I went outside constantly to see nothing for the next couple of hours.
I dont know what they were, but it was ironic because when I blinked hard and looked with the clouds parting - thats when I saw the four - spaced evenly and travelling in the N-S direction.

Interesting story. So you live in Adelaide? Do you find that there really arent many UFO stories ever releases in Australia? Or maybe Im just missing them.

I think personally that there are sightings... especially up around the hills and the areas out North, also in the Barossa Valley where other friends live. One bloke I know - who is a real sceptic - told a bunch of us at an AFL Grand Final party last year about his car having a "large black triangle" go over it and then it disappeared. he said his wife and son also saw it - and his son came out and told us the same story when quizzed...
So yeh - there are sightings.
Roxby and Woomera are strange places too....
I have mates in defence that "know what they have seen" too.
