Do you sneeze when you respond to sunlight or artificial lights?:confused:Looking at the Sun Can Trigger a Sneeze: Scientific American

Ummm ... has it got anything to do with this??:

Just don't do it around your grandmother thats all I'm gonna say ... :D  :D

That's a great article! love those high-speed-motion capture photos of mucus being expelled, they crack me up for some reason!
I don't sneeze when I get aroused, nor does my girlfriend for that matter(thankfully), but we are both sun-sneezers. I had read about it once and the hypothesis is that it was an old reflex from our ancestors, that is when they would come up out of the cave, out of the smoky communal fire the photic sneeze response would clear the sinus passages allowing for a better hunting nose. The same could be postulated about mating or pheremonal response triggering sneezing to smell a potential mate, either way If anyone reading this suffers from sun-sneezing OR arousal-sneezing, Post your stories of projectile snot here.

I have this. And sometimes when I'm inside and feel a sneeze coming on (but it's not quite there yet) I just look into a light and will sneeze. Discovering this has a name is kinda like finding the word "Synthesia" which explained why I associate colors with numbers, letters and sounds.

Now I can tell people I am not so weird after all!

Well, perhaps I am still a weirdo but for entirely different reasons.

Just read the article schticknz posted,

Dont get aroused when sneezing, I just laugh uncontrollably on climax.
Anyone else get that?
Also I do sneeze when looking at the sun, even looking up on a clear day at the sky has the same effect. Until now I had always assumed this reaction affected everyone.

I have heard though that our bodies are in a similar state to that experienced when having an orgasm, when we sneeze.

I'm off to get some snuff,

Aaachooo...;)
