post your fave moment or thoughts on this awsome show!

here is mine in 2 parts 1st part season 2

part 2 season 5

no show before or since has that great of a story to make one scene and fulfil it 3 years later..

Well, one could say that Mr Straczyinski borrowed a lot from Tolkien and Frank Herbert, but I liked very much that he dared to steer away from the usual Star Trek / Star Wars stuff. I actually bought the DVDs because I never could come around to watch B5 on TV (plus the german dubbing sucked as it mostly does). I just loved the characters, and the spiritual/philosophical ideas the writers put into some episodes (mainly those dealing with the Minbari culture), about the soul, very much mirrored the "unthinkable" thoughts I was pondering at that time.

My favorite all time quote from B5 was Londo Molari talking about his wives. He was showing pictures of each one to Vir and said" Here are my three wives...Pestilence....Famine...and DEATH." while they both cringed from the pictures. That was just HI-larious!
B5 was such an awesome show it's a shame it doesn't get more recognition than it does.....except among the enlightened like us.;)
