I would contend he likes to THINK he knows something we don't but in reality he doesn't. He's doing what all politicians do all day, every day: playing to his supporters.

I appreciate your healthy level of doubt and cynicism, but I think this may be the most honest politician in D.C. I'm sure he has his political ambitions, but he doesn't strike me as the typical perverse, parasitic garbage that passes for a congressional representative these days. Nancy Pelosi is one bullet and a stroke from being the President of this freaking monkey-house! That scares me half-shitless.

He is right on, does anyone wonder why he received almost no coverage during the primary's? All I saw was the same old democrat republican drivel and he was completely ignored, as if he wasn't even running. What is this country all about? Just one big mess that needs to crumble if you ask me, and we are only a few trillion fake dollars away I''m sure.

I'm inclined to agree... but if you stop and think about what that statement actually means it doesn't really inspire devotion. Also honesty as it pertains to expressing ones own convictions doesn't count for much either (ie he can speak honestly about something and still be dead wrong).
