I've never seen any mention on UFO forums of The Berwyn Mountain, UFO incident which allegedly happened in Wales UK on 23 January 1974 and thought maybe it is one that has gone unnoticed outside the Uk ??

It's a fascinating case with reports of shot down and retrieved crafts and many witnesses involved. It's true there was a confirmed 3.5 magnitude earthquake which coincided and which some say was the real explanation but others also say that the tremors which were measured by the Institute of Geological Sciences were caused by an impact of one or more UFOs.

There was a really good documentary on here in the UK last year. It's a while since I've seen it but I think it takes a bit of skeptical approach ignoring a lot of witness testimony: (See below)

I believe Nick Pope has done some investigation into this case and I'd love to see a Paracast on the incident.
 
I remember listening to a general UFO radio show here in the UK and someone called in who was an actual witness. The person said that he was at a high vantage point on the mountain road and could see lots of military below loading a huge metalic disc onto a vehicle. He gave a lot of detail and I got the feeling he was a genuine witness rather than a hoaxer.
 
'I seen a documentary, before about this ufo incident in Wales. Out of curiosity, i actually looked by google search then if any ancient sites actually exist in this part of Wales. 'What, i found was ancient "Celt" and "Druid" structure's( standing stones and caverns do stand today within the area of Berwyn were the alleged ufo incident was siad to have taken place.I know, this may have notting to do with ufo occurence, if real in wales, but you have any bit of curiosity, it does seem kind of strange with some ufo cases were ancient monuments known or unknown exist, alot of ufo sightings happen.
 
Andy Roberts, the guy in the final video analyzes the Berwyn Mountain Incident on his website. For some reason search engines tend to miss the contents of 'Flying Saucery.' He's worth reading for the evidence he uncovers, but be aware he's a skeptic skating on the thin ice of debunkery. TBH I'm not entirely sure if he's actually fallen through and is happily doing the back stroke!

Still, there's no point avoiding the guys that don't reaffirm our beliefs and Roberts is difficult reading if Rendelsham Forest is a favorite. He supports his views with official documents. He has the awful Condign Report to download too. I mean, it's shit, but part of official UFOlogy history so everyone should have a copy. Check out the link by all means, but be very aware he's a VERY skeptical guy presenting genuine documents about Berwyn...::)
