By the way, I happened to see that the UFO Store is carrying Bill Knell DVDs now. I thought this crook had fallen off the face of the Earth.
Be careful NOT to buy anything with this shyster's name attached to it; you will be bilked of your money and may not ever see anything in return.
Twenty-two years ago, when I first started promoting UFO lectures, he was to be my first speaker. I created a student group, KUUFON (The KU UFO Network), especially for the event. I booked him for two days and arranged radio and other media for him.
Later he bumped us down to one day.
Then, on the day of the lecture, I had an auditorium FULL of people that wanted answers to the UFO question. First, he was late. Then, he didn't show. I had to refund everyone's money, and a UFO scholar friend of mine and I gave an impromptu one-hour lecture and answered questions from the audience for free. There were people from all over the Midwest there, asking very informed and interesting questions, especially for the time.
Later that day, I finally tricked his wife into answering the phone. She claimed he had gotten stuck in the Denver airport and was snowed in (in August) yet I could clearly hear him in the background giving her instructions on what to say. He never intended to make good on his contract.
The videos he has for sale in the UFO Store are the same exact videos he used to sell back then on VHS. They looked and sounded like crap, and they're likely mastered from copies of those. He also sold other people's lectures on audio tape that I'm sure they didn't know about. Don't get involved with this guy--he's out for a buck at any cost. He doesn't even do his own research--he runs a group called "Island Skywatch" out of Long Island, and claims to be a non-profit but isn't. His research is stolen from Friedman, Moore, Al Bielek, and anyone else he can find. The photos for his "multimedia slideshow" are stolen right out of the pages of other people's books. I'm calling this guy out.
CAVEAT EMPTOR!!
