"CORN! CORN! COOOORRRRNNNNN!!!"

I love those guys.

The real question is, how many warranties will those auto companies get away with voiding based on bogus accusations of E15 contamination.

Corn based fuel is pretty much everywhere. It's likely in your car, now, if you're from the US. It's a government mandate in the US.

For the sake of safety, it's advised that cars older than 2001 not use the fuel with the 5% increase. The small amount of overflow from blender pumps is insignificant. The real argument that I've seen the most of from the special interests is that pumps won't be properly labeled, and that consumers will be confused. The risk that one of these hapless idiots might use the wrong fuel is enough to abandon the entire E15 idea.

Ethanol is not corn, anymore than gasoline/oil is a prehistoric maple. Ethanol is made from corn. People use the word "corn" in place of "ethanol" to sway thinking. When people feel the need to use trick language to make their points, it's often because they know the legitimate strength of the point is weak.
