Whoo hoo! My post got mentioned on this weeks episode !(It made my day, and yeah, I take great pleasure in the simple things in life ).

I was a little disappointed to learn that I wasn't the originator of the phrase "to Biedny" someone, but the ParaCast is quite popular so I can see where someone else had thought of it first. I give full credit to the originator, whoever that may be.

I did want to make one clarification; I was by no means implying that Gene and David have all the answers about the realm of the paranormal, nor do they claim to have all the answers. My definition of Biednification means, to think critically based on common sense and investigative research into a topic, and then present said thoughts and research to a disillusioned, misinformed, or somewhat psychotic individual for the purposes of setting them straight. When it comes to the world of the paranormal, regardless of the discipline (ghost hunting or UFOs, etc...) there are people out there who DO think they have all the answers without doing any kind of research, even base-line, about what they're spouting off about. This came about recently for me on another forum, where someone was protesting a statement I had made about the Amityville horror case being fabricated for money and publicity. My response was thick with facts and supporting evidence, and had a slightly demeaning and condescending tone, hence, I Biednied the guy.
