Big Black Cats In Rockland County, NY

Free episodes:

A jaguar or cougar was found not far from where I live recently. There's a bunch of cases like this throughout the world. One of the Bee Gees seen a possible panther in the UK (think it was the UK at least)

Oh, then a jaguar or cougar was shot in Chicago awhile back. Saw video of it. Had the police after it etc.

Cats can be very stealthy. In our area a cougar was found in a woodsy area completely surrounded by housing developments. To get to there from the 'forest' he would have had to cross a large Mall parking lot, a 4-lane freeway, and go through numerous residential steets. The conclusion is that he's been there a long time and feeds off the local raccoons, or even the deer that are frequent. When the story hit the local paper it turns out there are quite a few lairs for cougar and bear around here. People know where they are and just keep kinda quiet about it in hopes they can live in peace. I live on an island surrounded by killer cold salt water, and we still have deer and coyote, which are legal to hunt. This last winter we had more snow than usual, which brought the coyotes out into the streets. Teenagers cause a lot more problems than the coyotes. Unfortunately, they are not legal to hunt.

To the point that it is almost supernatural. They are definitely some smooth operators. My brother has had one that drops in periodically to snatch a meal. Never seen more than a footprint, even with dogs and night-vision goggles.

Never noticed them being stealthy. Perhaps they did a good job.
