I'm definitely no expert, I felt myself that the timbre and range of the sounds were something that could have been made by a human, or human-like animal. But as I said, I'm no expert.

I haven't seen the show ( don't know if it's even been aired yet) so it would be interesting to find out how far into the sticks they were etc. I mean, just cos it's not one of them playing along, it could still be some other joker camping out answering back?

But I confess I am a sucker for recordings of 'bigfoot'!
 
Yeah, for sure, it's interesting - I just have very little knowledge of the details surrounding the clip and the location so it's difficult to comment on it as any kind of proof yet. I might just check out the show, though.
 
Please report back when you do. The show I think won't be out til summer in the US, so I'll probably have to wait for clips to be posted.
 
Those guys (whoforted) are a little on the silly side. I really wouldn't put it past them to lightheartedly overreact to something less than spectacular for the purposes of a good time.

The screams in the video sounded like a person. They may or may not have staged it for their movie, but I think they're into having fun. What I mean is, I think they'd have reacted the exact same way to a tonal yodel.
 
I seriously think that a bunch of us should get together for 1 month and hike through some of those territories where big foot or other creatures are being reported. Camp for 2 days, move to another spot, camp, etc. Of course, we may all have to wear a steady and thick coating of bear piss to not get noticed. I'd be up for it!
 
Yeah, I'm coming, lets go to some serious 'Deliverance' territory, you know maybe West Virginia etc, with all the royal hillbilly's - and let's go looking for a squatch.
 
If all else fails we could point at random trees and declare loudly and with certainty just how 'squatchy' they definitely are.

I've heard that sound up where I'm living. While it's true that my area has a large number of Bigfoot Sightings, I've always credited the sound to these:


(Between 1:30 and 1:36 you hear sounds that are remarkably similar.)
 
We get a lot of foxes roaming around our neighborhood. The first time I heard some of those calls was in the middle of the night and it sounded like they were coming from my backyard. It was kind of eerie until I figured out what it was.
 
The Bigfoot Show over the last few months has been talking a LOT about a place the Texas Bigfoot folks call Area X. If you want to hear some good tips and hear some fairly amazing stories, one should check those podcasts out.
