Paranormally Disenchanted
I just discovered Bill Gaede looking into various explanations of the double-slit experiment. Google him to read about his career as a industrial spy amongst other things. At any rate ...

The issues described in the introductory videos can all be resolved by the computational model. For those who have not run across it before, it is the concept that our reality is in fact a generated environment. What you are seeing at the start of the video below is a computer simulation of material structures forming in our universe at a point after the Big Bang when stars begin to ignite and light is introduced into the universe. The universe then evolves and you can see galaxies collide and other cool events. Notice that there is a time and scale factor to the simulation.

In a generated environment matter can seem to come from noplace and go back to noplace, thereby explaining how the universe could arise from nothing ( a big bang ). Similarly it explains issues like the cosmic speed limit and quantum entanglement. It doesn't explain where the universe generator ( God or whatever ) came from, but it implies a transcendent level of reality beyond this envoronment that we call our universe ( astronomical context ).
