“In England, the epicenter of the black-eyed children legend is the Cannock Chase forest. According to paranormal experts, it’s the most haunted forest in the country. Earlier this month, a YouTuber was flying his drone over the forest when he saw movement in the trees on the live video feed.”

“Thinking it might be someone in trouble, he quickly maneuvered his drone in for a closer look. What he saw instead is the stuff of nightmares… Now that’s terrifying. I firmly believed that black-eyed children were 100% fake, but after this…well, I’m not sure what to think. It’s also possible that what the drone captured was a lost child or hiker. Still though, I don’t think I’ll be visiting Cannock Chase anytime soon.“

I don't get what is creepy about this. To me it looks like someone wearing a white coat. How does this ambiguous whitish blob get interpreted as a 'black-eyed child'?

What's more strange is that the drone operator seems particularly lacking in adeptness at the critical moment when the whatever-it-is comes into close proximity with the drone.

I scent a hoax.

I had a quick look and found that there are active Beekeepers on the chase:

I once asked Nick Redfern* about the local area and he described it as the "Staffordshire Triangle" due to the number of unusual events that are reported.

I am not sure if he has written a book specifically about the area but I suspect he has.

I had a quick look and found that there are active Beekeepers on the chase:

There we go! Explains the movement I picked up - it almost looked like the person was video-taping for lack of anything else to ascribe to the movement. But a beekeeper tending his hives - yep - he's holding one of his trays I'm thinking, and he's got on the dark veil 'helmet'.

I still don't get why this image would be seen as a 'child' when it is clearly an adult, and why it would be viewed as 'paranormal'. The things people are getting away with claiming these days!
