black helicopter

Paranormal Adept
hello, my name is mike and im from sydney australia

i wanted to relate an incident and get some feedback/advice

im a sci fi fan and build models, the house looks like a sci fi convention
i once built a paper mache "grey" lifesized and it took its place in my collection.

on moving into a new house in the blue mountains west of sydney, i stuck it in a front window for the fun of it, and it drew attention from passers by, including a mini van full of jehovas witness's who milled around the driveway for a half hour or so, but thats not the story

one afternoon i was disturbed by a loud staccato thumping noise, which got louder and louder, alarmingly loud, so i went outside to see what was going on, no sooner than i was outside did i see a black helicopter come straight for me at a dangerously low altitute, it circled the house 3 times and was banked in towards me, and was so close the downdraft was stirring up leaves and dust and i could see clearly into the cockpit.
i was furious at what was an obvious breach of air saftey rules and was looking for its tail markings so i could complain... it had no markings whatso ever, it flew off and thats all there is too it

your feedback is appreciated

mike

where to start,
there is more to this story, but im uncomfortable with relating any more than the "normal" stuff
ive worked for the local dept of health in IT, and even the australian branch of a swiss bank corp, there are aspects of this story that are crazy, and i dont want to be associated with crazy

heres the culprit

just a toy, ive hauled it out the attic and as you can see its worse for wear these days

the helicopter seemed modern, with seats for pilot and another set behind for passengers, it was a gloss black finish , and i was genuinly worried the idiot flying would hit a tree or the house, the noise was incredible.

now for the crazy part

as i said it had attracted some attention from ppl walking down the street, one day my wife was mowing the lawn when she was approached by a man who started saying things like "he knows" your husband knows.
she asked him what he meant and he went on to tell this long story about how (we live inside the blue mountains national park) there was an alien base in the bush about a mile or so from the end of the road we lived on, he said he had discovered it bushwalking and that aliens had put a "wire" in his brain

and that if we followed a certain track we would see evidence of a crash an UFO accident, where they had messed up a landing
he described the effects the place has on his dogs and other details.....

well like i said crazy (this is before the helicopter incident)

anyway some enquiries about the crazy man and we found out his name was fred and he lived at number 56, old fred was another name neigbours had for him,

anyway we have an air force base here in the mountains at glenbrook, and on a whim i phoned and asked if they knew anything about the "base" , i was put on hold and then transfered to a freindly staffer who knew all about fred, including his address and confirmed they had a looked into his claims and found no evidence of his crash or his base....

then years later someone goes to the expense of buzzing my house with a chopper, which is the only bit of the puzzle i dont understand

You mention you could see clearly into the cockpit. Are you comfortable discussing who/what you saw in there? I ask, because I got buzzed by a weird black helicopter as a child, and there were other bizarre factors to the incident. But in my case, there was no visible cockpit - the whole thing was glossy black, and it whined rather than making a typical helicopter noise. It also appeared without any warning, over the top of a large hay barn, no approaching sound, etc.

im comfortable about the helicopter incident and ive been trying to remember the incident all day, and ill describe it again with extra detail

as i said the model had been in the window for a long time and had drawn some attention from the street.
we live on top of a ridge with the street running along the top and house blocks hanging off either side of it, our side slopes steeply into the national park and a zillion gum trees, behind the house on the opposite side it drops off as a sandstone cliff into a valley below.

i heard the thumping get louder and louder, it was very loud.
the helicopter seemed to come up from the valley, over the roof of the house opposite and straight down the middle of my front yard and over the top of the house, so low i was angry at the recklessness of the pilot, it disapeared over the house but reapeared a second later coming around from the north banked in towards the house , dirt and dust went flying and at this point i thought it must be a local heli tour operator who was soon to be unemployed as i searched for the tail markings so i could report him, but there were none, it was black and unmarked,
its funny i remember "remembering" the occupants, but try as i might today i cant picture them except the pilot who was dressed in black with a black helmet and visor. i remember being able to see "through" the passenger section, such was the angle of the helicopter as it went round the house, and by the third round i was jumping up and down in rage shaking my fist at the clown flying it, i was angered by the noise, and the fact he could crash at any moment and damage the house, and his passengers
i remember "remembering" that they were looking at me

my problem is this helicopter is just a machine, my model is paper and glue, theres nothing strange about either object , what i dont understand is why someone (and im only assuming this is why i got buzzed) would spend that sort of money when they could have just used a zoom lense from the driveway

at the time of the incident i thought it was a heli tour operator who i would love to have dobbed in to our civil aviation authority, it wasnt till later i realised the significance of a black chopper with no markings and tied it to the model in the window

theres one other aspect which is prob only co-incidence

when i was 15 and living in sydney i suddenly decided to go bushwalking in the blue mountains west of sydney, i set off from central station on the blue mountains train line at about 5:00am in the morning, i had no destination planned.
about halfway up the mountains the train stops at a place called woodford and on impulse i jumped up and got off just as the guard blew his wistle.
the train pulls out and there i am on a lonely station to the right is the great western highway which didnt look right for a bush walk, so i went the other way.
i walked down a long straight road which halfway down bends slightly and i noticed one house as i went round this bend and continued down into the bush where i spent the day walking i returned home and never went bushwalking in the mountains again

10 years later my wife and i were being shown a house for sale in the blue mountains by the estate agent, he had shown us a few already, but this latest house was familiar, being driven there i did not recognise the street was the same one i walked down a decade earlier and in the driveway i found myself looking at the house accross the road from the one for sale, it was the same house that had stuck in my mind from the bushwalk, i was on the same road that i had by chance chosen a decade earlier.
we bought the house and soon after my wife was approached by old fred with his frantic tale of a base at the end of the road, the same area as i had by chance gone walking over 10 years earlier

im happy to chalk that up as just a coincidence, but im still left with the question of the helicopter it just doesent make sense to me to buzz the house over a paper mache model that could have been photograhed from the gate .
