After 20 years of getting excited about these things, I just can't anymore.

This one almost made me spend a lot of time trying to figure out if it's real.

I wish it were, but I can't tolerate the disappointments anymore.

Take away the disappointment of promising zero point energy devices and what do you have? The fact that when progress is contingent upon commercial interests, progress does not just stagnate, it's manipulated to induce ignorance, deception, and retarded at the cost of the profits that the obsolete technologies are depended on to yield. Ah, preservatioon of the species individual, rather than the individual species. I think they call that "greed".

Forget the wish in one hand jive and focus on the sociology my friend. It's far less depressing and promotes real cynicism. ;)

I know where you are coming from however. What was that nickle catalyst cold fusion conversion device that the one Baltic guy was having so many people look into recently a few years back? I hear ya, it gets old in a hurry, but I am such a sucker for my imagination.
