He says that like it's a bad thing. Where else are retired Seal's and Special Forces personnel going to get a job? Actually, as far as a 'CIA' is concerned, Strafor http://www.strafor.com can give these guys a run for their money (but without the guns part.) A subscription to these guys costs about $300 per year for an individual and the analyses is really very good. It's instructive, also, to see what kind of jobs Blackwater is hiring for: https://secure.blackwaterusa.com/ gives you the questionnaire.

Weren't they changing their name to "XE"? Nice bit of PR. After all, nothing out-does a cartoonishly sinister name like "Blackwater" like an incomprehensible single syllable...

They could do something constructive instead of spying on people and waging wars.

Perhaps you were unable to catch the sarcasm in my post. Having to point it out kind of defeats the purpose. In any case spying on people is not always a bad thing. I would like to know, myself, if someone is plotting to kill me or hurt my family. Call it 'tactical awareness' instead of 'spying' if you like.

They kill for money. It's as simple as that.
Every single one of them belongs in jail, and I don't give a damn what they're retired from.
