Having a great time in CA! James Fox and Tracy Torme flew me out to be interviewed for what may be quite the historic feature film project. A couple of years ago they decided to join forces and produce what could turn out to be the ultimate Feature Film addressing the UFO subject. Fox, as many of you know was the producer of Out of the Blue and I Know What I Saw, two of the best films yet produced on the UFO subject. Tracy is best known for his 90s TV show Sliders which he conceived, wrote and produced, the feature film Fire in the Sky the story of the Travis Walton case and he co-wrote Fastwalkers with Jacques Vallee. Along the way he was the driving creative force behind HBOs series Carnivale and also co-produced the Will Smith film I Am Legend. Tracy has been a longtime behind-the-scenes guy in ufology and has been a guest on the Paracast.

This past weekend the two of them did their first round of interviews (18 interviewees) and I was honored to be chosen to participate along w/ Grant Cameron, Ann Druffle, John Alexander, Rob Simone, Nick Pope, Leslie Keane and ten others. The project's working title is 701 which refers to the 701 unexplained Blue Book cases. They plan to invite Carter, Clinton and Podesta to participate and several others who shall remain unnamed for now. It sounds like a really well conceived project and I can't think of a better partnership to create what may be a historic look at this subject!

After my weekend (I had a blast with James, his sister Kelly and the other production team members) I went down to Laguna Beach to work on the Citizen's Hearing on Disclosure edit for the DVD set. Yesterday, my video producer friend Ron James and Rob Simone went out on Ron's boat and experienced what was my most magical moment with animals in nature! Five miles out we stumbled on a huge pod of fishing dolphins. There must of been several thousand. We drove in and among them as they methodically herded a large school of bait fish and went to town for their lunch. As fate would have it both my camera and phone ran out of battery, but I managed to get one picture. Ron was able to get several hundred shots a few of which I'll post later, but I must say: this was an amazing experience that I'll never forget!

Chris makes the BIG TIME!

Wow! That sounds COOL!! On so many levels...just awesome. Naturally I can't wait for the film, however those are some SERIOUS characters you are hanging with! James and Tracy are some of the very best. Both of Fox's recent shows were over the top excellent. Possibly the best ever. That show Carnivale is one of my alltime favorite HBO shows. I could never get enough of that show, I just loved it. Man, keep having a great time and be safe. Tell Tracy that between Fastwalkers, Carnivale & Fire In The Sky, I don't know which project I liked the most. No wonder I liked Carnivale so much. I never even knew who Tracy was, let alone he had a hand in making all three!

Thank you Tracy and James for all your help with Ufology!

Here's a couple more dolphin shots....boy, what a spectacular encounter! We raced along w/ them doing 20 mph watching them herd a school of fish for lunch. When they got them corralled into a mass, they went on a rampage and the water turned into a frothy 3 to 400 yard patch of white water... absolutely an amazing sight to see! Can't wait to see the video clips...

the local news station was showing clips...probably from the same pod...taken off from Dana point. this was a great catch chris

Loving the dolphin stuff. Have you ever seen 'squads' of flying fish? I saw them mid-Atlantic a few times and I was utterly blown away by how far they could actually fly. I've no idea what the collective noun for flying fish is so 'squad' will do for now!

I've been lucky enough to see a couple of whales, porpoises and dolphins but nothing like the number you have seen off LA. One of natures great spectacles, and it has the added buzz that we know these creatures are smart too, this isn't just like ants in a colony, this is smart creatures doing smart stuff.
