Can some explain how receiving 1million faxes is going to do any more than annoy?

Nothin' to see here
Seriously, maybe Im just too stupid to get it. But how will the receipt of a million faxes result in some sort of disclosure?

I for one believe that elements of the military and associated private companies do know a great deal about UFOs. But sending a fax to the White House is not going to reach those people.

Its just going to piss them off.

I really dont get this.

Sometimes you do what you do, not for the result, but just as a statement of what you think is right. It beats not trying.

David contacts officials weekly I hear. I don't think he's done so about ufos, but other matters. Perhaps he can give you some insight.

I personally think the government isn't needed for disclosure. I'm more concerned with how mainstream science view this subject than I am some phony piece of shit power hungry politician, or our partially impotent congress and senate. Having said that, politicians want votes, and in order to get votes they bounce off the public. If there are a lot of people wanting something addressed, some politicians focus on that, with a wide range of degrees of success.

One example I can give is DUI laws in my state. Enough people pitched a fit for a long enough time, that the laws are actually too extreme and they don't play around in my stated. I speak from experience.

I was more trying to make a point that its a stupid idea, rather than ask how it would work. I honestly just believe that it will irritate some officials for a day and thats it.

Why would the media cover this if they didnt even bother with Leslie Keans press conference last year? They wont.

Officials need irritated.

They didn't cover it? How did you become aware of it then? Even if so, the US throwing a dead alien body on the table, or coming out with proof and conclusions about alien visitation is much more newsworthy than Leslie Kean's conference. She isn't an official but a "ufo Nutt" in the eyes of many. I wouldn't equate the two. You think the media wouldn't cover disclosure? They covered the Roswell Mogul explanation. The media cares about ratings, and will go where they think it's to be had. So long as Britney or Miley don't shave their heads and pose nude, a fair amount of coverage would occur, if something of susbtance happened.

Think of the Bigfoot in the freezer, and the peeping tom alien. That got tons of press.

I'm going to send a million faxes to the f**kers flying the UFOs. Anyone got their number????

whenever Im reminded of Greer Im instantly thinking about his alien baby claim. How was he able to get away with such preposterous ludicrosity?

He should be made to put up or shutup.

I think of the bug he vectored in.

He's able to get away with it because there's a lot of stupid people.

Having said that, I'm open to the whole hybrid thing. I am open to the possibility SOME people may have held those type babies. I see no reason to think Greer has though.

Oh, and the SETI coverup spew comes to mind too when I hear about Greer. I'm no fan of Seth Poostacks, but if I side with him on an issue you can be assured the opposer is a loon. That being Greer.

My problem with it is the delivery and the lack of commotion. If it was true I would want him to be really amazed by it and talking about it, rather than just casually dropping it into a talk and calling it cute.

I don't pay much attention to delivery when it comes to people I don't know personally for years. Nothing to contrast it by. That's what fact checking is for. Last thing I wish to become is a Paola Harris, who thinks she can tell all by viewing someone speak. I listen to what people say, what they have to back it up, more so than how they say it. We're all practiced liars. We're human after all. If you can't lie convincingly, you must have been born yesterday. Now, once you get to know someone for years, yes, then body language is worth reading. I will go so far as to say Greer is a good liar. Like a politician. By good I mean there is no noticeable signs like his nose growing when he speaks. He keeps his same demeanor. But for one who lies a lot, the same demeanor can't be reconciled with the truthful response can it? We haven't seen it enough.
