I have my 15 year old moggy on my lap right now, I could not do that to her as she has been my long time friend.... sorry I like cats
My cat has been all over NZ with me and is quite happy in a car.. If I move house I do not need to keep her inside to get used to the new place as home is where I am.. Smart cat

I love cats! That link has zero to do with cats. I was just reminded cos of your use of the word 'macabre'. Abuse of cats? Not on my watch! Long live the moggies......dogs are ok but I like my cats. As you say, when they prowl about looking for somewhere warm to sit and spy a nice warm human lap - nothing a cat does is out of love. They are totally selfish but the trick is that lots of the things they do can be mistaken (knowingly) as affection. It's a most fair trade in my book and those ancient Egyptians knew this to be true methinks!

I love cats, but i can never eat a whole one......

Jokes aside my grandad was a vet, and he ran a cattery where people boarded their cats while they were away.
Once i could be trusted to use the airlock (two doors outer one gets locked before inner one is opened) i lived in there as a kid.

Much as I love my 3 cats, I always get the impression that they are always mocking me... pawing at the window then walking away when I open it with that "Suckered you again mister" look on their faces ....
