Part of me admires his sense of adventure, especially as I know far too many adults who are afraid of leaving the house and absolutely refuse to travel.

I'm also extremely grateful he's back home and safe. I hope his parents are able to address that while a desire to see the world is a wonderful trait, what he did was foolish and dangerous. I wonder how security never asked to see his passport or boarding pass, especially as he was a child traveling alone? That part amazes me.
