Yes.., the image you’ve posted is disturbing. All children deserve parents, food, shelter, clothing, medical care, and a chance of a decent education too. You seem fairly bright, so you must realize that this particular research is above Morgan Freeman’s pay grade, and all of scientific research is not to be screwed up. Who’s to say that future generations will not benefit from the research being conducted at CERN? As an aside.., if you haven’t noticed by now, I will point out that there is a tremendous amount of irony gripping this planet.

Morgan Freeman’s pay grade as the prominent presiding professor at DCU. As I will state with a degree of certainty that there are few if any graduates that have, or will ever be employed at CERN…, Morgan Freeman included. The statement made was simply a metaphor pointing toward your disdain of Discovery Channel University, along with Theoretical Physics in general. If that in fact is the case.., so be it, however, there’s no need to place CERN on trial for crimes against humanity, or to use this particular thread as your personal soap box.
 
I have no disdain for any television production like "Discovery Channel University". It is what it is.

What I do have disdain for is people taking money from others by force and spending it on scientifical boondoggles.

Please explain how you can walk up to a starving child like those in my photo above, rip a dollar out of that kid's hand, and put it in an envelope to Switzerland.

I would love to hear your sophistry justifying that.
