Chilean government provides photo of UAP for analysis

Free episodes:

Yea, great paper, but as Lance said, lense flare is my first guess, and if they do not rule that out, then the paper is worthless. good try. E for effort.

I honestly have no idea about photo analysis so can't comment on it...I posted the thread because I thought some people on the forums might be interested in the news that some sort of official relationship exists between a government and NARCAP. That's a step forward for those working hard to get government support for investigations into UFOs.

Boy, that's pretty disappointing. How many times do we hear, "I never even saw anything, but I was going through the pictures, .. and BAM! Alien ship". I'm don't know anything about photo analysis, but isn't that the first thing to look for when someone says that??

Haines seems to be a pretty smart guy. I don't know if I should be surprised by this or not, but I am. He also seems to be a reasonable researcher which makes me wonder why he doesn't mention the possibility and probability of this photo being the result of digital camera artifacts. And the earthquake 2 weeks later?? Whaa?? Why would you need to mention this for "completeness" sake?? I mean why don't they give the barometer readings, rain gauge levels, and lightning strikes for the next two weeks as well?? Don't see where this factors into anything, ... but perhaps this is why I am a novice.

Are digital artifacts something that can be easily distinguished during an analysis??
