Interesting...though having the power to destroy something is different from having the ability to penetrate the defensive "bubble" around the AC. And completely different from having the will to use such a weapon.

Isn't the AEGIS built to take care of things like this? Also, I'd be very suprised if the USA doesn't have something similar already

AEGIS/Phalanx is a last ditch/last chance system with a decent effectiveness. But as fast as this particular delivery system flies, I would be surprised if it didn't get through.

Probably not, but only because it probably won't be launched.

We (the USA) don't have the anti-missile capability that we want everyone to think we do.

I wouldn't be so sure. I don't think that our carriers are as well protected as everyone thinks. Read this article on how a Chinese sub was able to come within firing range of Kitty Hawk undetected. This is a huge deal.

With this technology they can potenitally take out our carriers which is the backbone of US Naval fleet. I think this is huge and I just hope that somebody in Pentagon is looking at this seriously.
