I wouldn't be so sure. I don't think that our carriers are as well protected as everyone thinks. Read this article on how a Chinese sub was able to come within firing range of Kitty Hawk undetected. This is a huge deal.

With this technology they can potenitally take out our carriers which is the backbone of US Naval fleet. I think this is huge and I just hope that somebody in Pentagon is looking at this seriously.
