CHO 66C, That's the registration number of my old car.
A beautiful 1966 white red leather trimmed Volvo P1800S, just like the one Roger Moore used in the classic TV series "The Saint".
I hope I've managed to add some photo attatchments correctly.
I'm not a particularly sentimental person but every now and then I do get a bit misty-eyed remembering this car and the times I had with it. My brother owned one some years before me and I fell in love then.
GBH 19C, where are you now?
In fact Johns one is now owned by some beautiful Red headed TV interior designer from a few years back. Some of you brit forum members might know who I'm thinking of, the name escapes me right now.
When I had mine it inspired me to name my Antique Restoration business
Templar Antiques, and whenever my wife and I went out in it we both used to cry out, Choc's away. These cars were very popular with Pilots
btw.
I just wanted to hear some more stories from anyone else who has similar
fond memories of their favourite cars. Sadly I no longer own this old beauty but one day I intend getting another classic, maybe an MG or a Mercedes. Who knows but it's nice to dream.
