*sigh*........I am telling everyone I know that America as we knew it is gone, we are going to be frickin' cattle to the rich and elite, we are going to be slaves/serfs/drones....expendable at that.
No one believes it. No one wants to hear it.
Everyone just wants to stick their tiny little brain cage in the sand and watch "Big Brother" or (Gods help me) "Here Comes Honey -Booboo"..............
We are a lost people.........lost to apathy, self-imposed-ignorance, fear.
"Oh that can't happen here" or "That's crazy and won't happen." is all I hear. But it has happened, and it's going to get worse. A LOT worse.
And for the life of me, I don't know what to do about it.

Honestly, where do we go from here?
Every form of communication is monitored.
Every movement that starts gets infiltrated, kept from organizing, ridiculed, and made impotent.
The mass media spins events in favor of the elite, and ignores or minimizes such things as the NSA spying on everyone...and concentrates on Snowden! Concentrate on him.....NOT the spying part!!!
The rich continue to get richer and squeeze the little people.
The rich and elite have bought off the government, it's USELESS to write your congressman or representatives......they couldn't give a shit about you unless you're "In The Club". And now they have the power to imprison you without due process, a hearing, or even council.
Healthcare is ripoff, even when you can get decent healthcare.
Education is getting too expensive EXCEPT for the wealthy, and what quality is the education you get?
Jobs are scarce, unions are useless. No such thing as job security.
And now you're retirement/pension funds aren't even safe. Look at Detroit declaring bankruptcy. They can't afford to pay their city retirees anymore.
I want to do something but I am totally stumped as to what to do. This sucks worse than anything else I can think of.

All good points but as to how to fix it I have not the smallest idea.
The sad thing is my friend we are heading at high speed to a cliff face and it matters not if you are rich or poor the system as we know it will end.. I can not tell you what will spark it or when it will happen all I know is at this late stage it is a matter of "when" not "if".
What worry's me most is not that the old system is doomed (and people will argue that it is not), but what will be built in its place and by whom?

Stoney, you may like this video. I do not know how you feel about such things, but this vid has some new-agey stuff I'm not sure how I feel about, but the entire video, and I urge you to watch it all the way through, does make sense and has some critical information I think you'll want to know.

I have been there before .. I have the link in my alt news folder as I tend to hunt through many sources before I make an opinion on news and never swallow anything the MSM has to dish out
Will watch it and let you know... I tend to rip into new age as I personally see it as fluffy pseudo religious BS people use to make themselves feel good when they should be getting stuck in and fixing the problems... but now and then I am surprised and it is not all that bad.

Exo, I think we pretty much already are. Did anyone happen to catch the story about the woman who came home to find out that a bank had repossessed all her belongings because the repo man went to the wrong house? And after the fact the bank gave her attitude, hasn't paid her a penny or returned anything and the local police chief is backing them (the bank) up? If not, here it is but it might make your blood boil:

There really is no denying it anymore. I'm a younger person, so I know there's much I have never had to see that my parents and grandparents have. And for a long time I think I justified things that way. It's just the ebb and flow of time that brings new challenges and we will get past them just as everyone else has. But this seems different now. Things are going a very bad way and no one is applying any brakes.
And the worst part is that I think, at least here in the U.S., many people still cling to the idea that we're the best of the best. That we have the best way of life and we are safe and free. It's not true anymore. Maybe there was a time when it was, or almost was, but it isn't now. Now we live under the thumb of banks, corporations and the people who are supposed to protect us and most of the population prefer to stay blind by worrying more about celebrities, sports and entertainment.
Walmart gets life insurance payouts on former employees while their families foot the bill for the funeral. Banks can repossess property they have no claim to with police backup. Companies like Monsanto can fuck with our food while fracking chemicals are poured into our water. Student loans have skyrocketed to keep young people paying out for the rest of their lives. All the while groups like the NSA watch our every move and police can force their way into someone's home (and kill the family dog) even when the residents have done nothing wrong.
Even if you only buy into a few of those issues, I think we can all agree things are terribly wrong. And you know why? It all comes down to greed. Cold hard cash. If you have it, you can pay your way to or through anything. There are no individuals and human beings anymore, we're just resources to sociopathic leaders. If you aren't one of the elites then you're just a lowly pleb here to work yourself to death for the CEOs, government and whoever else makes more money than they could ever spend in 10 lifetimes.
I apologize for my rant. This has been a very serious topic of discussion in my household recently. I think we feel the same way you guys do - like there's nothing we can do to change it now.

That's really the biggest concern I think. What is this country going to look like in a generation or two? I keep hoping that maybe something will happen to turn things around but so far nothing has presented itself.

Paul Hellyer says we only have about 8 more years to make big changes before they are completely irreversible. I am pretty interested in reading his book that he reads from in this video at the Citizen Hearing for Disclosure:
